Surrogacy in India via Joy surrogacy - Testimonial and positive feedback from clients!

Testimonial

"A few weeks ago we returned home with two beautiful babies born through surrogacy in Mumbai. We have used WeeCare Surrogacy as our agent and are completely satisfied with the services that they have provided to us.
Taking the surrogacy journey is a difficult decision as it is fraught with risks and uncertainty. WeeCare reduces most of these risks. We could trust in them right away because, Victor Hui-Wee, the executive director has taken the surrogacy journey himself.
Victor was straightforward with us and most helpful throughout our journey. Once we signed up with WeeCare, we were given quick access to the partner in India and also flexibility to choose when we want to start our journey.

Victor provided with thorough support throughout the process, including detailed information about what to expect, conference calls before we embark on our initial trip and the final trip to pick-up the babies. Victor always responds quickly to e-mail and telephone queries and phone us several times when we are in Mumbai to provide support.

When we look at our babies now, we marvel that we are able to have such a beautiful family. We know that we could not have completed the surrogacy journey without the support and encouragement from WeeCare Surrogacy."

Thank you so much!

Advantages

Why Work with Joy Surrogacy?

India is one of the very few countries that allows international surrogacy and gives adequate legal protection to parents, but this choice was about more than just the law. It was about the ability to provide care for your baby from the moment he or she exists.
  • We are an American owned company based in Michigan, U.S.A.
  • Joy surrogacy and partners in India have assisted clients from all parts of the world.
  • In order to be eligible for surrogacy, all women must be between the ages of 21-30 and have already had successful pregnancies (standards not held in all countries).
  • All IVF procedures are handled at the International fertility center, which ensures a high success rate.
  • The intended parents can meet surrogacy candidates prior to making any decision.
  • India has a high percentage of both quality surrogates and egg donors.
  • Indian surrogacy law does not give surrogate mothers the option to keep a child after he or she is born.
  • The Joy Surrogacy Program ensures that surrogate mothers have medical and living expenses during the pregnancy as well as housing in a complex design for surrogate mothers. We guarantee the best care and nutrition are being given to your baby round the clock.
  • The cost of surrogacy in India is approximately 40%-70% less than the cost of similar programs in Australia, Canada, European countries, and the United States.
  • As soon as your baby is born, your names are put on the birth certificate.
  • All clients of Joy Surrogacy are given priority with our clinical partner in India, which means a shorter wait for you: between only 30-60 days.

Surrogacy in India via Joy Surrogacy - About us!

Like many Joy Surrogacy clients, Victor and his wife Mary had always wanted children but ran into more obstacles that they were prepared for, particularly when it came to their desire to raise a newborn. Whether it was local or international adoption, they were always faced with the same problems: too much red tape, too expensive, or too much competition. Things became more dire when laws about international adoption tightened, all but excluding a couple of their ages. IVF treatments also proved fruitless and left the couple with disappointment and $45,000 in medical bills. For a time, they gave up hope of ever achieving their dream. Mary completed her doctorate, and Victor expanded his already successful businesses. But it was not long before that familiar longing returned, and a chance flip of the remote changed their lives.

Surrogacy, international or otherwise, had never occurred to Mary and Victor because they had spent so much time on adoption and medical procedures. Fortunately, an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show on international surrogacy opened their eyes to the possibility that they really could have a child of their own. After much research and struggling, the couple decided to go it on their own and work with India surrogacy, a choice that they are elated to have made, for they are now the proud parents of 3 beautiful children.

Surrogacy In India - India becomes go-to destination for surrogacy

CNN) - A remote corner has earned a reputation as the surrogacy capital of the world.
Infertile couples - and the women who give birth to their children - said it's a win-win, but critics complain about exploitation.
It's a long wait, nine months spent chatting, cooking, sewing, nurturing their swollen bellies.
"Just like you give a room out to rent, I give my womb on rent," Manjula said.
Surrogacy in India is booming, thanks to the low cost of the procedure, availability of surrogates and skilled doctors.

Surrogacy in India - Centre plan: Surrogacy for all; Women’s wing wants the term ‘couple’ redefined

New Delhi: The Union women and child development ministry has proposed that the health ministry allow surrogacy to everyone, including unmarried couples and those in live-in relationships.

In its comments on the proposed Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Bill, 2013, the ministry has opined that the health ministry’s definition of ‘couple’ is narrow. The WCD wants the definition of “couple to include everyone who wants to avail ARTs and surrogacy, irrespective of marriage”.

Contrary to the health ministry’s draft Bill — that says that no woman shall act as surrogate for more than three successful births including their own children — the women and child development ministry has proposed to extend the same provision to four births (live and still births), including her own children with not less than a two-year interval between two deliveries.

The WCD is also of the view that women above 21 years of age with conditions like height below 140 cm, women with low Body Mass Index (BMI) and with high-risk conditions like cardio-vascular diseases, thyroid problems should be excluded.

Adoption vs. Surrogacy Financial Costs

Jimmy Fallon is bursting at the seams over his baby girl, Winnie, who was born via a surrogate to him and his wife, Nancy Juvonen, in late July. And let's not forget about Giuliana and Bill Rancic's nearly 1-year-old, Duke, also born via a surrogate. From surrogates to adoption, there's a baby boom happening in Hollywood. Unfortunately, these routes aren't as easy for those who don't have that star paycheck to pay for it

Nancy Juvonen and Jimmy Fallon attend TIME 100 Gala, TIME'S 100 Most Influential People In The World at Jazz at Lincoln Center on April 23, 2013 in New York City.

While it seems like it might be an easy alternative, the reality, of course, is more complicated and expensive. Hopeful couples discover that adoption or gestational surrogacy costs from tens of thousands of dollars to more than $100,000. (And that's on top of the thousands of dollars many have already shelled out on fertility treatments, to say nothing about the emotional toll.)

Story of a Surrogate: the journey to parenthood - ABC South East SA - Australian Broadcasting Corporation

Reaching out
Last year, two hundred and sixty-nine babies were born to surrogate parents in Australia. This year, two hundred and fifty-four babies have been born through the process of surrogacy already.
It's a growing trend in Australia but is one that remains relatively uncommon.
Although commercial surrogacy is illegal in Australia, prospective parents have found their mothers-to-be online and via friends and family.
Others also seek help through the form of agencies such as Surrogacy Australia, which says it helps to support those planning on undertaking the process, sometimes finding prospective surrogate mothers abroad, in countries such as India and Thailand.

Surrogacy India - At Weecare surrogacy our Indian doctors are Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)

HYDERABAD: The burgeoning fertility industry of Hyderabad currently going through rapid growth is also trying to deal with its fair share of malpractice with many fertility clinics out to make a quick buck by duping vulnerable couples who are eager to become parents.
Several clinics in the city continue to perform various IVF and surrogacy procedures despite lacking the necessary infrastructure facilities and medical expertise, top officials said.
And efforts to regulate the industry are not proving to be very successful, officials said as clinics are unwilling to come under the scanner with only six out of 60 clinics registering itself with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) since January.

Surrogacy India is an option - Costs for battling infertility are high

When her friends complain about how expensive their kids are, Haley Hanzon laughs.
"We just show them the bills showing them how much trying to have these babies cost," she says.
Like one out of every six to eight couples in the U.S., the Hanzons are infertile. The young couple lives in West Jordan, a suburb of Salt Lake City, and has been trying to start a family without success for several years. Haley leads a local infertility support group of about 20 women, and they often commiserate on the staggering costs of family-building.
While debate nationwide centers around contraceptive access, the costs of conception are so high and insurance coverage so limited that fertility treatment is largely viewed as a luxury good. However, infertility affects rich and the poor alike, and couples like the Hanzons who pursue fertility treatment face an uphill financial battle in building their families.

Surrogacy In India - Varying laws can complicate surrogacy

Cindy Vitales, a childhood friend of the mom-to-be, hangs decorations before the baby shower. Photo: Nicole Fruge, The Chronicle

If Jennifer Benito-Kowalski could have had her way, she wouldn't have shipped her eggs to India.
Determined to have a child but unable to conceive and unwilling to adopt, the San Carlos woman considered hiring a Bay Area surrogate in early 2012.
But the cost was high - more than $100,000 - and surrogacy in the United States sounded like a nightmare. She feared a repeat of a case in New Jersey, where a surrogate took back the baby she had carried from its intended parents.
"I didn't want to take any chances" of that happening, said Benito-Kowalski, 40. So she and her husband, Steve Kowalski, mailed their embryos to a clinic in India, where surrogacy was just $25,000 and seemed, at least at the time, more clear cut.

Why People Are Angry About India’s New Surrogacy Rules

A new government regulation has left 28-year-old Sunita Devi worried about the future of the baby she is carrying. Devi, who is already showing at five months, is a surrogate mother carrying the child of a single Canadian man. Wearing a yellow shalwar suit and a long, well-oiled braid, Devi is visibly upset as she talks about a memo that India’s Home Ministry circulated late last year to Indian missions abroad, stipulating that gay couples, single men and women, nonmarried couples and couples from countries where surrogacy is illegal be prohibited from hiring a commercial surrogate in India. As of an unspecified date, foreigners who want to hire a surrogate must be a “man and woman,” the new rule says, “[who] are duly married and the marriage should be sustained at least two years.” Now Devi is worried that the child she is carrying may not be able to be handed over to its Canadian father. “I will be carrying this baby for nine months,” she says. “But what if after I give birth, it doesn’t get a home?”

India's growing 'rent-a-womb' industry

Margaret, a social worker from South Australia, discovered in her late 20s that she could not give birth to a child. Given the long waiting list for adoption, she decided at age 39 to use a surrogate mother instead.
Like many Australians, she decided to hire an Indian surrogate mother. Now a mother of twins, Margaret said it was "just miraculous that this was a possibility for us".
Bobby and Nikki Bains, from Essex in the United Kingdom, had lost all hopes of having a child after five in-vitro fertilisation attempts and spent two years trying to find a suitable surrogate in the UK. Given that advertising for a surrogate is illegal there, they turned towards India and have now had two children with the help of surrogate mothers.
Margaret and the Bains are just some of the many foreign nationals who are increasingly visiting India in search of surrogate wombs. It has become a sunrise industry in India: the country is now home to approximately 1,000 surrogacy centres.
According to a recent article in Mother Jones, surrogacy is now an estimated $2.3bn business. Each year, it is estimated that 25,000 couples visit India for surrogacy services, resulting in more than 2,000 births

India surrogacy change cuts off Aussie parents

Changes to commercial surrogacy arrangements in India, introduced just before Christmas, have cut off one of the more popular avenues for Australians wanting to become surrogate parents.
While heading overseas for commercial surrogacy is illegal in Queensland, New South Wales and the ACT, hundreds of Australians still flew to India every year to become parents.
But now the Indian government has issued a directive that only couples who have been married for more than two years can enter into commercial surrogacy arrangements, and only if it is legal in their home country.
